The Arkansas State University volleyball team gathered at the ASU Pavilion Saturday afternoon for a barbeque and meet-and-greet with volleyball season ticket holders.

The volleyball team was treated to Demo's barbeque and roast turkey provided by Paul Burrow before introducing themselves to the season ticket holders in attendance. 

The volleyball team continues to work daily in preparation for their season-opening tournament at Texas Southern in Houston.  Arkansas State takes on Mississippi Valley State Friday at 1:00 p.m., then takes the court again later in the afternoon for a 5 p.m. matchup against host Texas Southern.  The Red Wolves will wrap up the tournament Saturday at 11:00 a.m. against The Citadel.

The Red Wolves, picked fourth in the preseason Sun Belt Conference West Division poll, return four starters plus the Libero, and eight letterwinners from last year's team.
