JONESBORO, Ark. (11/5/09) - Arkansas State's football game against Louisiana-Lafayette Saturday, Nov. 7 has been slated as "Heroes Day," honoring military, fire, police and emergency personnel with free admission to the game with proper identification.
Family and guests of the heroes will be admitted at a discounted rate of $7.50.
The 875th Engineer Battalion that served a 12-month deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom will be recognized during the pregame festivities.
"We are so honored to have the 875th Engineer Battalion as part of our game day experience," said Gleen Hart, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions. "This is just a small token of our appreciation for all that they do, and we are so thankful for their service to our country."
