NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (4/16/16) – Arkansas State sophomore women's bowler Jordan Richard was named to the 2016 All-NCAA Tournament team at the conclusion of the event Saturday night at Brunswick Zone Carolier Lanes in New Brunswick, N.J.

Richard was second in the field and led the Red Wolves during the seeding rounds with a total pinfall of 1,540 and a 220 per game average. She also bowled very well in the best-of-seven Baker matches as the Red Wolves' anchor bowler.

The Tecumseh, Mich., native only bowled one game under 200 during the seeding round and had a high score of 246 in third game, a 1,160-922 win over North Carolina A&T. She also had three more 230+ scores with a 235, 234, and 232 during the seeding rounds.

“I'm very proud of Jordan for earning this achievement,” A-State head women's bowling coach Justin Kostick said. “She had a fantastic tournament and proved why she's a First-Team All-American. She's such a great competitor.”

This is Richard's sixth all-tournament honor of the season, which ties Sarah Lokker's school record set in the 2013-14 season.
