NASHVILLE, Tenn. (3/8/19) – The Arkansas State tennis team fell 4-0 to Lipscomb Friday night in a non-conference tennis match.

The Red Wolves fell behind by dropping the doubles points with losses on courts one and two. Anita Detlava and Berta Masdevall Masip lost to Kate Popova and Viktoriya Dzyuba 6-4, while Shelby King and Shannon O'Brien lost to Denise Buberl and Liza Diachenko 7-5.

In the singles' matches, Pornpawee Pramethong lost to Dzyuba 6-3, 6-3 on court one, while King dropped a court two match to Kate Popova 6-0, 6-1. Lipscomb clinched the match when Detlava lost the court three match to Buberl 6-3, 6-4.

A-State will return to the court Sunday afternoon in Nashville against Presbyterian College.
