JONESBORO, Ark. (2/25/10) – The ASU Committee of
the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the ASU Red Wolf
Club to reward participants of the popular "Paint the Town Red"
festivities.
Past participants of
"Paint the Town Red" were placed in categories, and winners were
drawn randomly to receive a Night at the Ballpark. Ten local companies
were picked to have a company outing at an Arkansas State Red Wolves baseball
game. The winners will receive 50 tickets to the game and use of the first base
Party Box.
The Party Boxes opened two
seasons ago as part of a $250,000 stadium upgrade and place patrons directly at
field level of Tomlinson Stadium and Kell Field.
This year’s winners
include: Craighead Electric Co-op, Sharp PHO & St. Bernard’s, Northeast
Arkansas Federal Credit Union, Steve Doty Properties, United Way, the Acoustical Group, South
Wind Heights, Liberty Bank, Blue Coast Burrito and Healthcare Insurance of
Arkansas.
Chairman of the ASU
Committee Dawn Layer said, “With the excitement that ‘Paint the Town Red’
creates each fall, we wanted to continue it in the spring. What better way to do that than give the
businesses that participate an opportunity to celebrate with their employees
and customers.”
The tickets were
distributed to winning organizations Thursday afternoon by members of the
committee, and the first Night at the Ballpark is Craighead Electric Co-op
Friday, Mar. 19.
