Dennen Cuthbertson is in his second year as an Assistant Director of Media Relations after spending two years as the department's graduate assistant.  He is the primary media contact for volleyball, women’s bowling and baseball.

During the 2015 baseball season, Cuthbertson helped promote Zach George to All-American status by two different outlets (Louisville Slugger and American Baseball Coaches Association).  Additionally, he has helped eight women's bowlers earn National Tenpin Coaches Association All-American status, including three after the 2014-15 season, during his tenure.

Cuthbertson also oversaw the volleyball program's first American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American in 2014 when Markie Schaedig earned honorable mention recognition.

As a graduate assistant in the Media Relations department, Cuthbertson was responsible for covering all aspects of the A-State volleyball, women's bowling and women's tennis teams.

Prior to earning the graduate assistant position at A-State, Cuthbertson was an assistant volunteer baseball coach at Warren High School in Arkansas.

Before assisting with the baseball program at Warren High School, Cuthbertson was a video scout intern at Baseball Info Solutions in Coplay, Pennsylvania during 2011.  His responsibilities included scoring live games, charting pitches, and compiling information for the 2012 version of the Bill James Handbook.

Prior to Baseball Info Solutions, Cuthbertson was an intern in the A-State Sports Information department during the summer of 2010.  He helped maintain, assisted in the publication of the 2010 A-State football media guide, aided in the preparation and conduction of the 2010 ASU football media day, and helped with the day-to-day activities of the office.

Cuthbertson also spent time at the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County while in high school and college.  His duties included refereeing youth basketball, umpiring youth baseball, facilities maintenance, and marketing the sports programs that were being offered.

The Warren, Ark., native and 2006 graduate of Warren High School earned his Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from Arkansas State University in 2010 and Master of Science degree in sports administration from Arkansas State in 2014.
