HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, Mo., where hit .315 with a .421 on-base percentage and recorded eight doubles and one home run as a junior ... was a second-team All-Conference team selection as a junior ... as a freshman was named the Missouri State Freshman of the Year ... played both shortstop and catcher in high school.
