ON TAP: Arkansas State will play its final home game of the 2009 season Saturday when it faces North Texas at 2:00 p.m. in a Sun Belt Conference game on the Red Wolves "Senior Day". THE PRINCIPALS: The Arkansas State senior class will play its final game at ASU Stadium Saturday and will be recognized prior to the game for their contributions to the football program. The Red Wolves will be looking to snap a four-game skid and collect their seventh winning season at home under head coach Steve Roberts. The Mean Green enters the contest on a three-game losing streak, its last victory coming 68-49 over Western Kentucky on Oct. 31. Statistically, the game will pit the Sun Belt Conference's No. 3 ranked defense (359.4 ypg) in ASU against the No. 4 ranked offense (421.5 ypg) in North Texas. The Red Wolves' offense is ranked No. 8 (321.5 ypg) in the league, while the Mean Green's defense is No. 6 (405.8 ypg).
SENIOR DAY: Arkansas State will hold its annual "Senior Day" Saturday against North Texas, recognizing its 19seniors for their accomplishments at Arkansas State and contributions to the Red Wolves footballprogram.
