STORYLINES 

• The Red Wolves look to bounce back from a Thursday night setback to Georgia State as Georgia Southern visits First National Bank for a 7:00 p.m. matchup Saturday. The game can be seen on ESPN3 with Brad Bobo (play-by-play) and Al Grushkin (analyst) on the call. Matt Stolz will bring the play-by-play action on the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network and flagship station 107.9 KFIN.
• With 93 points scored at Appalachian State on Saturday, A-State tied for the most points scored in a Sun Belt road game in program history.
• The Red Wolves shot 62.5 percent (10-16) from 3-point range at Appalachian State, best in a conference game since shooting 63.6 percent (14-22) at Texas State on Jan. 4, 2014.
• The Red Wolves have had a player score 20 or more points in 15 of 23 games this year.
• Deven Simms scored 28 points against Georgia State to mark his most points scored in a Sun Belt Conference outing.
• A-State is 6-1 when leading at halftime, but 2-14 when tied (1-2) or trailing (1-12) at the break.
Deven Simms has more made 3-pointers (29) in 22 games played this year than he had in 30 games played last year (12).   
Grantham Gillard has a team-high 58 rebounds over the last eight outings. He had 26 rebounds in his first 12 games played.
Tamas Bruce shot 37.7 percent (29-77) at the charity stripe last season. So far this season, Bruce is hitting 66.1 percent (41-62). 
• The Red Wolves play five home games in February for the second-straight season and eighth time in 31 seasons at First National Bank Arena. .
• A-State has played just three of the 18 Division I basketball programs in the state of North Carolina (Appalachian State, East Carolina and North Carolina A&T).
