Paragould Bowling Center Chosen as New Home of Red Wolves Bowling

JONESBORO, Ark. (08/31/10) - Head coach Justin Kostick and the Arkansas State women's bowling team announced Tuesday that the newly remodeled Paragould Bowling Center will serve as their official practice facility for the next two seasons.

The Paragould Bowling Center recently underwent major renovations, and the contract will allow A-State to use the facility during both the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

John Bland, owner of Paragould Bowling Center, said, "We are thrilled to have had ASU's third-place women's bowling team choose us as their official practice facility, and we look forward to having a great partnership with Arkansas State."

"We're proud to make Paragould Bowl ASU's practice facility," said Perry Chambers, manager of Paragould Bowling Center.  "We invite all ASU students, faculty and staff to be a part of PBC as well."

"I'm excited about the opportunity to go use the Paragould facility and help move our program forward with four days of official practice each week this season," said Kostick.  "John, Perry and the whole staff at PBC have been a huge help to me and our team."

The Red Wolves open the 2010-11 season when they travel to Springfield, Mo. Oct. 29-31 for the Greater Ozark Classic hosted by the University of Central Missouri.  ASU made its third consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships last season and finished third in the tournament.
