ASU Basketball Hosts Team Camp For Area Schools

JONESBORO, Ark., (6/20/11) – The Arkansas State men's basketball program held team camp for 10 in state schools and 10 schools from the states of Tennessee, Missouri and Mississippi this past weekend at the Red Wolf Center.

The teams were divided into two divisions with Southwind from Memphis defeating Jonesboro High School for the Division I championship and Lausanne from Memphis defeating Manilla for the Division II championship.

The camp was overseen by Arkansas State coaches and players with each team playing in at least three games and the teams with the best records after those three games advancing to the semifinals and finals of the camp.

Registration is still open for the Arkansas State Individual camps for boys from grades 2-4 and 5-12 beginning next Monday (June 27). For more information on the individual camps contact the ASU basketball office at 870-972-2700.
