JONESBORO (6/27/11) - Arkansas State golfer Jennifer Loiacano posted a personal-best 68 in the final round of the AWGA designated stroke play event Sunday at RidgePointe Country Club to win the tournament.
Loiacano finished the two-day tournament at 139 to win the title by 19 strokes.
"I'm so excited about Jenn's win this weekend" said ASU head coach MJ Desbiens. "She is definitely getting rewarded for all her efforts. She is an integral part of our women's golf program, and I feel very fortunate to have her on the team."
Fellow Red Wolves Jennifer Welch and Clara Tefteller also competed in the event. Welch finished third at 158, while Tefteller finished 11th at 172.
