ASU Invitational Begins Friday

JONESBORO, Ark. (1/26/12) – The Arkansas State track and field teams return to the track this weekend hosting the ASU Invitational this Friday and Saturday at the ASU Convocation Center.

Action begins at the Convocation Center Friday at noon with the first events in the men's and women's multis. Men's and women's field events begin at 4 p.m. with the men's weight throw followed by the women's weight throw and the men's pole vault.

Running events begin at 5:30 p.m. with the men's and women's 3,000 and the distance medley relay.

Saturday begins a full day with a rolling schedule of events with the multis resuming at 9 a.m. and other events beginning at 11 a.m. with the shot put and the 55 meter races.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday at 11:30 a.m. and Saturday at 8 a.m. General admission tickets are $4 while students tickets are $2.
