MEMPHIS, Tenn. (4/10/12) - The Arkansas State men's golf team shot a final-round 315 at the Colonial Country Club on Tuesday, completing the two-day Memphis Intercollegiate in 12th place with a combined 961.

The Red Wolves' 315 was their lowest score of the three-round tournament, also shooting a 322 and 324 for the first and second rounds, respectively.  Cory Williamson, Sawyer Radler and Chris Pledger all turned in their best performance of the tournament on Tuesday to lead the Red Wolves in the final round.

Williamson carded a final-round 76, the lowest score of the tournament by an ASU player, to finish a team-best tied for 50th place.  Williamson, who climbed 10 places in the standing with his final-round performance, recorded a combined 238.

Also competing for the Red Wolves, Radler finished tied for 52nd place with a 239, Pledger tied for 59th with a 242, Wessel Zwiegers tied for 61st with a 243 and Matt Howton tied for 66th with a 249.

Kennesaw State shot a combined 892 to lead the 12-team field, while host-school Memphis finished second with an 893 and Vanderbilt third with a 901.

The Red Wolves return to action April 23-25 at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
