JONESBORO, Ark. (3/17/13)
– The Arkansas State University women's tennis team will
hold Campus Kids' Day on Saturday April 13 against Louisiana-Monroe, the last
home match of the regular season, at 11:00 a.m. at Allen Park in Jonesboro.
Each participant at Campus Kids Day will receive free
admission, a free t-shirt, tattoos, a chance to win prizes, rules to understand
the game, and have their picture taken with the players. There will also be
face painting, an ice cream social and other fun activities. Participants will
also have the opportunity to spend time on the court between matches.
Campus Kids' Day is sponsored by the United States
Tennis Association and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The purpose
behind the event is to expose players, parents, and coaches to collegiate level
tennis.
