Chris Graddy began his tenure as an assistant driector for media relations at Arkansas State University in August of 2012. Graddy serves as the primary for the women's soccer, women's basketball and women's tennis teams at A-State.

Now in his fourth year in a full-time role, Graddy has assisted in the promotion of A-State women's basketball player Aundrea Gamble to back-to-back Sun Belt Conference Student-Athlete of the Year of the awards. He also helped promote her to the WBCA Honorable Mention All-America, the first player in school history to receive All-America status from the organization. The women's basketball team has made back-to-back apperances in the SBC Championship game in 2014 and 2015 and also participated in the WNIT postseason event in each of those years. 

While working with the Red Wolves' baseball team, Graddy has worked closely with head coach Tommy Raffo as the Central Region head for the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Region team. As part of the duties, Graddy must collect nominations for the team, distribute the ballot and collect votes for a first and second all-region team. Those selected to the first-team are then eligible to be voted onto the ABCA All-American teams. 

As part of his duties, Graddy also oversees the design, printing and distribution of credentials for each of the athletic department's sports. 

Graddy was elevated to his current position after serving as the department's graduate assistant for one year. During his time as the graduate assistant, Graddy sereved as the primary contact for the women's volleyball, women's bowling and women's tennis teams, while also assisting with other sports. Graddy successfuly promoted three A-State bowlers to All-American status and accompanied the team to the 2012 NCAA Championship Tournament.

Prior to his post at Arkansas State, Graddy worked a sports reporter for The Sun newspaper in Jonesboro, Ark., where he covered both collegiate and high school athletics. He covered the back-to-back baseball state championships, while also covering a state title basketball run in his time with the organization.

He received a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from Arkansas State in summer of 2013. He obtained an undergraduate in Journalism with an emphasis in new-editorial from Arkansas State in August of 2009.

Graddy is a member of CoSIDA and the National College Baseball Writer's Association. He served on the 2013 judging committee for poster design for the 2013 CoSIDA National Convention.
