Jake Schoch

Jake Schoch is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the A-State women's soccer team.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Schoch comes to A-State after spending the previous three seasons at Missouri as an equipment manager for the women's soccer team where he assisted in the day-to-day operations of the program.

In addition his time at Missouri, Schoch has assisted with the U.S. Soccer Youth National Teams for the past year as an equipment manager on both the men's and women's side across several different age groups. He has several worked several camps U.S. Soccer camps with prominent members of the national team including Heather O'Reilly and April Heinrichs.

He also accompanied the 18U women's to England in 2015 where he worked to games and has an upcoming trip to Croatia planned in the coming months with a youth national team.

Schoch played collegiately at Wartburg College, a Division III school in Waverly, for one season before transferring to Missouri where he played for the Tiger's men's club team for two seasons, which included a trip to the club nationals.

Following the end of his playing career, Schoch began assisting the Missouri women's soccer program where he eventually was hired as the team's equipment manager.

His duties at Arkansas State will include on and off the field instruction and managing the day-to-day operations of the program.
