2017-18: Competed in all but one match during the 2017-18 season . . . Compiled the third best stroke average on the team at 73.72 . . . Completed a low round of 69 three times in the Memphis Intercollegiate, Seminole Intercollegiate and Lone Star Invitational . . . Ended the year with two Top-10 finishes . . . Ranked 18th in the Sun Belt in stroke average . . . Best finish was a second place finish in the Lone Star Invitational.

INDIAN HILLS COMMUNITY COLLEGE:  Ranked as the No. 24 junior college player in the nation by GolfStat as a sophomore in 2017 . . . Helped lead Indians Hills to a runner-up finish at the 2017 NJCAA Tournament and No. 1 ranking in the final coaches national poll . . . 2016 NJCAA Honorable Mention All-America selection as a freshman. . . Named Academic All-Region and first team All-District during the 2015-16 campaign . . . Head A-State coach Mike Hagen, the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year, also recruited Bares at Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) before joining the Red Wolves' program as head coach in July of 2015 . . .Preisdent's List and Dean's List member at IHCC . . . Named a Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year Award semifinalist as a freshman after posting a 71.30 and 72.95 stroke average for the fall and spring, respectively.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Prior to joining the IHCC program, Bares attended Gymnasium Vrchlabi school and was the 2014 Czech Republic National Amateur Matchplay champion. He placed third at the International Junior Amateur Championship in 2013, the same year he finished runner-up in the Czech Golf Amateur Tour.
