• Arkansas State closes out the non-conference schedule Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a matchup against Culver-Stockton College inside First National Bank Arena. Matt Stolz will bring the play-by-play action on the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network and flagship station 107.9 KFIN.
• In the 31st season at First National Bank Arena, A-State has compiled a 299-117 (.719) record, including a 156-36 (.813) in non-conference games.
• A-State looks for win No. 300 on the home floor at First National Bank Arena. Win No. 200 came against FAU in 2007 with Coach Mike Balado as an assistant coach for the Owls.
• The Red Wolves have seen a player score 20 or more points in 10 of 12 games this year.
Deven Simms has back-to-back double-doubles with 22 points and 11 rebounds at FAU and 30 points and 10 rebounds at No. 11 Wichita State.
Deven Simms double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds at Wichita State marked the first such performance given up by the Shockers since at least the 2010-11 season, a span of 262 games (data unavailable prior to 2010-11).
• A-State is 3-1 when leading at halftime, but 1-7 when tied (1-1) or trailing (0-6) at the break.
• A-State has used five different starting lineups in the first 12 games, but the same lineup in each of the last four games. Rashad Lindsey is the only player to start every game.
• Despite not playing in seven of the first eight games, Salif Boudie has 21 rebounds in the last four games, including seven at Wichita State on Tuesday. Boudie had 43 rebounds in 22 games played last season.
• The Red Wolves 80 points scored at No. 11 Wichita State were the most scored against a ranked opponent on the road in program history.
