• Arkansas State begins a three-game road trip Wednesday at Omaha. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at Baxter Arena. Matt Stolz brings the play-by-play action on the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network and flagship station 107.9 KFIN while the game can be seen on Mavs All-Access.
• As of December 11, A-State ranks 40th in 3-point field goal percentage defense as opponents are 43-of-146 (.295).  
• A-State begins a three-game road swing that will see the team rack up 4,673 miles for games at Omaha, FAU and Wichita State.
• The Red Wolves have seen a player score 20 or more points in seven of nine games this year.
• A-State faces Omaha for the first time, the third of four first-time opponents on the 2017-18 schedule.
Deven Simms had a career high 33 points on Tuesday, the ninth 30-plus point effort by an A-State player over the last eight seasons.
• A-State is 3-0 when leading at halftime, but 0-6 when tied (0-1) or trailing (0-5) at the break.
• The Red Wolves have been outscored 110-53 (6.3 PPG) at the free throw line over the final 20 minutes.
• A-State has used five different starting lineups in the first nine games. Rashad Lindsey is the only player to start every game.
• The Red Wolves have been outscored 208-152 in the painted area the last five games, an average of 11.2 points per game.
