JONESBORO, Ark. (7/23/12) – Arkansas State head volleyball coach David Rehr announced Monday the addition of Jeremy R. Thornburg as an assistant coach with the Red Wolves for the upcoming season.

Thornburg comes to ASU after serving as the men’s volleyball team manager at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne since 2005. While at IPFW, he also served on the equipment room staff and was a member of the athletic event staff.

While serving as the team manager for the previous seven years, IPFW amassed an 111-86 record and accompanied the team to the NCAA Tournament semifinals in 2006 and the NCAA Tournament runner-up in 2007.

He will handle to the day-to-day operations of the ASU travel schedule and handle video coordination for all home and away matches.

A native of Indiana, Thornburg earned his degree in general studies with a minor in communication studies and psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
