JONESBORO, Ark. (1/24/13) - The Arkansas State University men's and women's basketball teams will be showcased this Saturday (Jan. 26) as the Sun Belt Network and ESPN 3 will televise live the Red Wolves' home doubleheader against Florida Atlantic at the ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
The Sun Belt Conference (SBC) doubleheader gets underway with the women's game at 5 pm. (CT) followed by the men's contest at 7:30 p.m. (CT). Lyn Rollins will call the action in the women's game versus Florida Atlantic while Debbie Leonard provides color commentary. In the men's tilt against FAU, Tom Dore calls the play-by-play with Bob Donewald serving as color analyst. Both games are subject to regional blackouts.
The Sun Belt Network, which is presently in its fourth season for the 2012-13 campaign, is a joint partnership with Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) and Cox Sports Television (CST).
For the 2012-13 academic year each game will be available in 13 states across the southeast and games are often available on ESPN 3.com and ESPN GamePlan outside of the CSS and CST markets.
The agreement with CSS and CST has resulted in the broadcasting of football, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, volleyball, and softball contests throughout the last three seasons. In all, the Sun Belt Network has been responsible for over 100 events airing on CSS and CST over the past three seasons.
Additionally, Bright House Sports Network in Orlando/Tampa, WKYU in Bowling Green, Ky., and Time Warner Cable Sports in Texas all carry Sun Belt Network games.
