Stacey Willmott was named Associate Athletics Director for Student Services/Senior Woman Administrator on August 24, 2010.

Prior to taking her post at Arkansas State Willmott served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services/Senior Woman Administrator at the University of New Orleans since January of 2009 while at UNO Willmott was the administrator for all academic programs and services for about 150 student-athletes in all of the Privateers' nine sports and advised student-athletes in all aspects of their academic lives.

During her time at New Orleans, Willmott helped the Privateers win the 2009-10 Sun Belt Conference Graduation Success Rate Award which had previously been won by the University of Denver for the last 10 years.

"Being in the Sun Belt is like being at home for me and this is an absolute great fit for me," said Willmott. "The people at Arkansas State are unbelievable. I am honored, privileged and can hardly wait to join the Arkansas State family. I am absolutely thrilled about being a part of the staff at Arkansas State."

Prior to her post at UNO, Willmott served as an Athletics Academic Coordinator at Virginia and New Mexico State for six years. Before leaving New Mexico State, she served as the Director of Baseball Operations for one year.

Willmott has also served in the roles of Director of Counseling and Academic Support, adjunct instructor in psychology departments and as a therapist for a private practice.

She received her Master's of Science from South Dakota in Selective Studies with an emphasis, Counseling, Social Work and Psychology in 1986 and received her Bachelor's of Arts from Southwest State University in Health Education in 1976.
