JONESBORO, Ark. (11/6/16) – Jordan Richard of the Arkansas State women’s bowling team was named the Southland Bowling League’s Bowler of the Month for October on the heels of an impressive showing at the Wildcat Invitational the league office announced Sunday.

The Tecumseh, Mich., native registered a total pinfall of 1,149 for a 229.80 per game average and took home MVP honors at the Wildcat Invitational held Oct. 21-23 in Orlando, Fla., which saw the Red Wolves take home runner-up honors at the event.

Additionally, Richard led the league and her team with a 21.795 average score per frame through 122 frames played. Richard also filled 91.8% of those frames and posted a 54.9% strike percentage. She also tallied a 20.917 10th frame scoring percentage in 36 attempts, filling 88.9% of them. She spearheaded the team that led the league in October with a 204.2 total sum average per game.

Most recently, Richard helped lead the Red Wolves to a third-place finish at the Kat Klash in Houston, Texas. The junior had a total pinfall of 1,072 (214.40 per game) in the competition to place sixth in the individual standings.

The Red Wolves return to action next weekend at the Warhawk Classic being hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater Nov. 11-13 in Kenosha, Wis.
