JONESBORO, Ark. (1/31/17) – Arkansas State fans will have a variety of ways to get the latest information about the Red Wolves’ 2017 football recruiting class throughout National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 1, including “Signing Day Central” on

Featuring complete bios, stats and free video highlights, Signing Day Central will update the 2017 class as soon as their National Letters of Intent or signed athletic scholarship is received. Video highlights of the signees will also be posted to the official Twitter pages for A-State Athletics (@AStateRedWolves) and the Red Wolves’ football team (@RedWolvesFBall), as well as the athletics department’s Facebook page.

East Arkansas Broadcasters has a full lineup of radio shows scheduled, including a special “National Signing Day” program hosted by Matt Stolz, the “Voice of the Red Wolves,” and Brad Bobo, a popular EAB sports talk-show host and sideline reporter for the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network. The show will originate from the A-State Football Facility and air 7:00-10:00 a.m. on 95.3 FM and AM 970 in the Jonesboro area.

EAB’s “A-State Nation” will continue the coverage in-studio from 11 a.m.–noon, followed by the “Workday Redzone” from noon–2 p.m. at Fat City Steak and Grill House. “The Drive with Brad Bobo” program will carry a live press conference with Arkansas State head football coach Blake Anderson beginning at 3:00 p.m. All three radio shows can be heard live on 95.3 FM and AM 970, as well as online at

A-State’s National Signing Day press conference will also be streamed live on the athletics department’s Facebook page via Facebook Live and its Twitter account via Periscope.

The athletics department will also hold a pair of public events this week, one in Jonesboro and one in Little Rock, to meet with A-State fans and conduct a comprehensive review of the Red Wolves’ 2017 signing class. Both events are free and open to the public.

The Jonesboro-based “National Signing Day Social” event will take place Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Centennial Bank Stadium’s Woodard McAlister Family Club. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the program, featuring the entire A-State football coaching staff, will begin at 5:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar available and light snacks will be provided.

Coach Anderson will make an additional appearance in Little Rock the following day, Feb. 2, at the ASU System Office (501 Woodlane Drive, Suite 600). The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and a light lunch will be provided.

Both gatherings will include video highlights and details for the newest class of Red Wolves, an overview of the A-State coaching staff’s recruiting process, a Q&A session with those in attendance, and more. Arkansas State’s 2016 Sun Belt Conference and Cure Bowl championship trophies will also be on site for photo opportunities.
