JONESBORO, Ark. (5/2/17) – The 2017 version of the Arkansas State Coaches Caravan, once again sponsored by Centennial Bank, is set to begin Monday, May 15, in Germantown, Tenn., and will include subsequent Arkansas stops the same week in Rogers and Little Rock.

All three stops on the caravan run from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and are open to the public with no admission charge. The initial event in Germantown will be held at the Bobango residence (9480 South Dogwood Rd.) and continue Wednesday, May 17, in Rogers at Core Brewing Co. (1800 Osage Springs Dr., Suite 225).

The caravan will conclude Thursday, May 18, with the Little Rock event that is being held in conjunction with the annual A-State Golf Classic hosted by the Red Wolves Foundation. The golf tournament will be played at the Chenal Country Club (10 Chenal Club Blvd., Little Rock), starting with an 11:00 a.m. lunch that will be followed by a 12:15 p.m. tee time.

While the caravan event is free and open to the public, participation in the A-State Golf Classic luncheon and tournament requires registration through the Red Wolves Foundation. Additional details and registration information may be obtained by contacting the Red Wolves Foundation at 870-972-2401.

Along with the general public, all tournament participants are invited to attend the final Coaches Caravan gathering starting at 5:00 p.m. at the “McAdams House” (48 Chenal Circle, Little Rock), the home of Arkansas State University System President Dr. Charles Welch. Like the Germantown and Rogers events, those in attendance will have the opportunity to hear from and interact with A-State officials and coaches.

A-State Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir, Head Football Coach Blake Anderson and Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike Balado will be among the athletics and Arkansas State University representatives taking part in the tour. A-State season football tickets will be available for purchase at each location, and promotional material will also be provided.
