Cristian Ravar Ladislau, also a gold medalist last week, will compete for a trip to Eugene in the hammer throw. He ranks fifth among those entrants with his school record mark of 67.33m (220-11.00) established last week.

Bacon is set to race in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. The high point scorer in the Sun Belt Conference Championships, Bacon is coming off gold medals in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. He broke the 41-year 100-meter dash record with a time of 10.00 and ranks third among the entrants at the regional. He set a SBC record in the 200-meter dash of 20.35 seconds and ranks eighth regionally.

Shemiah Brooks also took gold in two events at the outdoor championships and heads to Austin to compete in the 100m hurdles and long jump. She ranks 32nd among the entrants in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.43 and 17th in the long jump with a leap of 6.29m (20-07.75).
