JONESBORO, Ark. (1/31/18) – With this year’s second NCAA national football signing period set to begin Feb. 7, the Arkansas State Athletics Department has announced it will hold two public events next week, one in Jonesboro and one in Little Rock, to meet A-State fans and recap the Red Wolves’ 2018 signing class.

The Jonesboro-based social event will take place Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Centennial Bank Stadium’s Woodard McAlister Family Club. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the program, featuring the A-State football coaching staff, will begin at 5:30 p.m. There will be a cash bar available and light snacks will be provided.

Head Coach Blake Anderson will make an additional appearance in Little Rock the following day, Feb. 8, at the ASU System Office (501 Woodlane Drive, Suite 600). Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for the event running from 12-1:00 p.m., and a light lunch will be provided.

Both gatherings will include video highlights and details for the newest class of Red Wolves, an overview of the A-State coaching staff’s recruiting process, a Q&A session with those in attendance, and more. Additionally, fans will also have the opportunity to hear the latest update on Centennial Bank Stadium’s north end zone construction. Season tickets for the 2018 season are on sale now and will be available for purchase at both social events.

The early signing period was held in December, and the Red Wolves have already announced 23 players from 12 different states who have signed with the program as part of its 2018 recruiting class. A-State’s latest signing class, the fifth under Anderson, is currently made up of 14 defensive, eight offensive and one special teams players.
