JONESBORO, Ark. (2/1/18) – An online auction benefitting the Arkansas State baseball program is now open today as 10 items are available for bid as part of the team’s Grand Slam Banquet.

Supporters wishing to put in a bid should visit, where they will need to register for an account before submitting bids. This auction allows people who don’t have a chance to make it to the Grand Slam Banquet a chance to support the program and win some exciting items. The auction will close at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 13, the night of the 16th annual Grand Slam Banquet.

The items available for bid include a baseball signed by Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio, a Yankees Legends framed picture autographed by DiMaggio, an autographed photo by Mantle, a Hank Aaron signed bat, a New York Yankees jersey autographed by Alex Rodriguez, a game-worn Oakland Athletics cap signed by Reggie Jackson, a Stan Musial autographed picture, a sketch signed by Billy Martin, a framed St. Louis Post-Dispatch Newspaper signed by Bill Clinton in 1992 after he won the presidential election, and a framed picture of Ted Williams and Bobby Doerr signed by both.

All proceeds from this auction will go to the A-State baseball program as part of its Grand Slam Banquet, which is set for Feb. 13 inside First National Bank Arena, where a live and silent auction will take place that night. Former MLB pitcher Lee Smith will the keynote speaker.
