JONESBORO, Ark. (4/2/18) – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll for week one of the 2018 Outdoor Season was released today and the Arkansas State men’s team maintained its top-30 ranking as the calendar turns to April.

The Red Wolves are ranked No. 5 in the South Central Region rankings, the highest regional ranking since the regional poll began back in 2010. The previous high in the regional rankings was No. 6 on May 11, 2015.

A-State comes in at No. 30 nationally this week after debuting in the preseason rankings at No. 29. The No. 30 ranking in season marks the highest for the Red Wolves men’s program since the week six poll of 2015.

The A-State Track & Field teams return to action this weekend in Athens, Ga., for the Georgia Spec Towns Invitational. The Red Wolves Open is set for April 20-21 at the A-State Track & Field Complex.
