JONESBORO, Ark. (5/22/18) – The Arkansas State women’s soccer team has announced four changes to its upcoming 2018 schedule.

First, due to a recent rule change by the NCAA, Division I soccer programs are now able to begin regular season play a day earlier than had originally been set and to take advantage of the new ruling A-State will now open the season on Thursday, Aug. 16 against UT Martin at the A-State Soccer Park, instead of its original date on Aug. 17.

Second, the Red Wolves were originally set to take on Yale at the A-State Soccer Park on Aug. 19, but due to a conflict in the Bulldog’s schedule that match has been replaced with a contest against Nebraska-Omaha on the same date in Jonesboro.

Third, Arkansas State has added a home match against the University of Memphis on Sept. 13. The Red Wolves and Tigers were originally scheduled to play in Memphis on Aug. 26, but a scheduling conflict has now moved the match to Jonesboro in September.

Fourth, due to the change of date with Memphis, the Red Wolves’ contest against Central Arkansas has also been affected and will now be played on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the A-State Soccer Park.
