JONESBORO, Ark. (2/6/19) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team announced the signing of Faith Welch to a National Letter of Intent to continue her collegiate career with the Red Wolves. 

Welch prepped at Hardin County high school where she was a four-time Tennessee state champion. She finished second at high school national finals in 2018.

The Hardin County Tennessee Native., she was named two-time Tennessee Miss Bowling. She set a Tennessee state record for the 8-game single qualifier with a 1,729 pinfall while also setting a single-game record of 289.

In 2018, welch finished 33rd overall in U20 division in the Jr. Gold tournament. 

In 2019, Welch competed in USA Team Trails where she finished 26th overall and 7th in the youth division. 

She is the daughter of Van and Debbie Welch.
