During the 2017 season, Schell was responsible for breakdown of practice and game film, statistical reports detailing defensive production, coordinating scout team and assisting with day-to-day recruiting operations.
As an undergraduate, Schell worked as a video assistant with the New England Patriots. He was responsible for filming practices, individual workouts and games for the coaching staff. He worked with XOS computer software to digitize, edit and upload film, while also installing and operating the ICE software to assist coaches and scouts with specialized assignments.
Schell earned a dual undergraduate degree in finance and sport management from Massachusetts in May 2015.
