NEW ORLEANS, La. (3/9/19) – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team has earned the No. 9 seed heading into next week’s Sun Belt Conference Championship tournament and will take on No. 8 Coastal Carolina on Monday, March 11 at 6 p.m. in Conway, S.C. at the HTC Center.

A-State finished the Sun Belt Conference with a 7-11 mark in the league and will play the Chanticleers who wrapped their conference slate with an 8-10 mark after losing to Troy on Saturday.

Should A-State advance to the next round, they would take on the No. 5 seed Appalachian State on Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m., in New Orleans, La., at Lakefront Arena. The quarterfinals from New Orleans are set for 11:30 a.m. on March 14, with the semifinals slated for March 15. The championship final will be Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m.

All games of this year’s Sun Belt Tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and the WatchESPN App, with the championship game wiring on ESPN3.
