JONESBORO, Ark. (7/17/19) – The 2018-19 Arkansas State men’s golf team, which completed last season ranked No. 35 in the nation by Golfstat, has been named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team, the organization announced Wednesday.

A 3.0 team GPA or better for an entire academic year is required to earn All-Academic Team recognition, and the Red Wolves’ student-athletes on the 2018-19 squad combined to produce a 3.45 GPA. A-State was one of five Sun Belt Conference programs to earn a place on the list featuring 138 Division I programs.

The Red Wolves have now been named an All-Academic Team by the GCAA all four seasons under head coach Mike Hagen.

A-State opens the 2019-20 season Sept. 14-17 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at the Golfweek Conference Challenge.
