COLUMBIA, Mo. (10/2/19) – Arkansas State women’s golf carded a third round 306 (+18) and finished ninth among 15 teams with a 54-hole total of 909 (+45) in the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by Missouri at the Club at Old Hawthorne.

The Red Wolves turned in a third round 306 (+18) after carding an opening round 301 (+13) and second round 302 (+14). A-State was two strokes behind Missouri State for eighth while host Missouri took the team title with a total of 868 (+4).

Sophomore Olivia Schmidt was the top finisher for A-State finishing the third round at 1-over 73 and 223 (+7) for the tournament, tied for 16th individually. Senior Grayson Gladden posted a third round 79 (+7) and finished tied for 22nd with a total of 225 (+9). Junior Maria Jose Atristain Vega tied for 41st (230/ +14), freshman Elise Schultz was 53rd (233/ +17) and freshman Kayla Burke tied for 62nd (237/+21).
