WICKLIFFE, Ohio. (3/11/19) –Arkansas State’s Julia Huren, Leah Glazer, Denisyha Waller and Taylor Davis received All-American honors during the 2019 NCAA Women’s Bowling Championship Banquet Wednesday.

Huren, a native of Westland Mich., was named Third-Team of the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA). In 2018, Huren earned the number one seed in the junior Gold Championship U20 division, clinching a spot-on Junior Team USA for the second-straight season. 

Glazer, Waller and Davis were named to the NTCA Honorable Mention Team.

Las Vegas, NV., native Glazer, was named Honorable Mention, after helping lead the fourth ranked Red Wolves to their 12th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. She also helped lead the Scarlet and Black to 73-43 regular season finish.

Markham, Ill., native Waller, was named Honorable Mention, after recording back-to-back 233.00 averages at the Mid-Winter Classic and Kutztown Invitational, while earning all-tournament honors at each event. She was named the Southland Bowler of the Month for January.

Davison, Mich., native Davis, was named Honorable Mention, after earning an automatic bid on Junior Team USA after finishing fourth among juniors and 21st overall while registering an overall average scratch of 6, 127 for a 207.23 average over the five-day event.

Arkansas State will play Vanderbilt in an elimination round Thursday, April 11 at 2 p.m. (CT).
