JONESBORO, Ark. (11/8/17) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team announced Wednesday that Destiny Truly has signed a National Letter of Intent to bowl for the Red Wolves beginning with the 2018-19 season.
A native of Minneapolis, Minn., Truly comes to A-State from Park Center High School where she was the top-ranked bowler in the state last season with an 89.85 fill percentage. For her efforts, she was named the Metro North Conference’s Most Outstanding Player for the third time in her career and garnered First-Team All-State honors.
Additionally, Truly won the Minnesota United States Bowling Congress (USBC) U15 Tournament in 2015 before she finished the 2016 and 2017 Minnesota USBC U20 Tournaments in second and third, respectively. She qualified for Junior Gold from 2015-17 and finished the latest version of the Junior Gold U20 tournament in 2017 in 33rd place out of 862 bowlers. She has a high game of 300 and high series of 747.
Arkansas State wraps up the fall portion of their schedule next weekend (Nov. 10-12) at the Warhawk Classic in Kenosha, Wis.
