NEW ORLEANS, La. (1/24/18) – Arkansas State senior Hannah Dunderdale has been named the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week following her performance in the pentathlon at the Samford Invite, the league office announced Wednesday.
Dunderdale scored 3,750 points in the pentathlon last week at Samford. The 3,750 points ranks second among the program ranks and has her 15th on the NCAA performance list. In the final event of the pentathlon, the 800-meter run, she clocked a time of 2:16.19, the ninth-fastest time in program history. She completed the pentathlon with marks of 8.87 in the 60-meter hurdles, 1.52m (4-11.75) in the high jump, 11.32m (37-1.75) in the shot put and 5.42m (17-9.50) in the long jump.
The Red Wolves host the A-State Invitational & Multis Friday and Saturday inside First National Bank Arena. The multis get underway at 10:30 a.m. on Friday with select field events beginning at 4:00 p.m. and select track events to follow at 6:00 p.m.
