Basketball Mini Plans and Group Tickets on Sale

JONESBORO, Ark. (11/8/13) – College basketball season has arrived and the Arkansas State University Athletics Department is offering a variety of convenient and affordable mini plans for fans to attend and cheer on the A-State men’s and women’s basketball teams this 2013-14 season.

The ‘6th Man Mini Plan’ for A-State men’s basketball features six home games starting at just $30 and only $20 for the Red Wolves women’s basketball’s ‘Starting 5 Mini Plan’, which consists of five contests at the A-State Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Ark.   

For group tickets, A-State is offering a ‘Match-Up’ plan where fans can purchase may purchase a certain number or more group tickets to a Sun Belt Conference (SBC) game and get the same number of tickets to a non-conference game for both men’s and women’s contests.  The A-State men’s basketball non-conference matchup excludes the Nov. 24 matchup against Central Arkansas.

As an appreciation to A-State’s fans, a ‘Thanks for being a Red Wolf’ offer is being extended with fans being able to purchase $5 tickets in sections AA, DD, LL, or PP to three men’s basketball games and two women’s basketball contests. 

The Convo Combo plan is available for all Red Wolves’ home games this season in which fans receive four upper level reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks, and four popcorn for only $30 apiece.

To purchase your tickets, please contact the A-State Central Ticket Office at 870-972-2781 or order online at tickets.astate.edu.  Fans may also visit the A-State Central Ticket Office, located in the red entrance of the Convocation Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) weekdays.  The ticket office is also open on Saturdays and major event days.

The 2013-14 season home opener for the A-State women’s team is Monday, Nov. 11, against Missouri State at 7:05 p.m. (CT) while the men's team will square off against Tennessee-Martin Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7:05 p.m. (CT) in its home-opening contest.
