2008:  Walker posted the best numbers of his career last season, posting 65 tackles (47 solo, 18 unassisted), one tackle for loss, one interception and five pass break-ups . . . Named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week after posting a season-high nine tackles and one interception for 33 yards in a victory over Middle Tennessee . . . His nine stops were just one shy of his career high set as a sophomore . . . Ranked third on the team in tackles and second among defensive back . . . Five pass break-ups tied the team high . . . Posted multiple tackles in all 12 games and finished with at least five stops in seven games . . . Ranked 29th in the Sun Belt Conference in tackles. 

2007:  Played in 11 games, including five as a starter . . . Tallied 30 tackles (24 solo, 6 assisted), including a career-high 10 stops against Tennessee . . . Also recorded one tackle for loss vs. Tennessee . . . Finished with three pass break-ups (1 in three different games) . . . Forced one fumble (vs. Louisiana-Monroe) . . .
