 2008:  2008 Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection . . . Leonard was a two-time Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week and named Phil Steele’s First Team Mid-Season All-Sun Belt Conference . . . He broke his own school-record for total offense with 2,863 yards and ranked fourth in the Sun Belt Conference and 38th in the nation in total offense . . . He also tied his own school record with 16 touchdown passes and finished with a career-best 2,347 passing yards that stands as the second most in school history . . . He now has 40 career touchdown passes that rank as the second most in ASU history and the fifth most in SBC history . . . He posted a career-high 366 yards of total offense (4th most in ASU history) in a a victory over Middle Tennessee . . . He finished the season No. 4 all-time in SBC history in total offense (7,297 yards) and No. 6 in passing yards (5,903) . . . Threw for over 200 yards in six games, including a season-high 292 yards in a victory over Middle Tennessee . . . Rushed for 516 yards and four touchdowns . . . Posted a season-high 86 rushing yards in ASU’s victory over Texas A&M . . . Longest rush of 32 yards also came against Texas A&M . . . Preseason Phil Steele’s All-Sun Belt Conference.

2007:  Leonard, one of 15 semifinalists for the Davey O’Brien Award last season, posted a school-record 2,782 yards of total offense and was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week three times as a sophomore, earning Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt Conference honors . . .  Leonard set the ASU record for single-season touchdown passes with 16 and threw for the third most passing yards in school history with 2,235 . . .  He added 547 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground, making him accountable for 21 total touchdowns, and finished the year ranked 40th in the nation in total offense . . . He threw a school-record five touchdowns in a game and also had a season-high 359 yards of total offense that ranks as the fourth most in school history . . . Finished the season ranked 40th in the nation for total offense (252.9 yards per game) . . . During the season, Leonard broke into the top-10 career leaders at ASU for total offense, passing touchdowns, passing yards and completions as only a sophomore . . . Preseason All-Sun Belt selection by Athlon’s and Phil Steele’s . . . Lindy’s “Strongest Arm” in the Sun Belt Conference . . . Received the “Winter Conditioning/Hustle Award” from the ASU Coaching Staff at the conclusion of 2007 spring drills.

2006:  As a redshirt freshman in 2006, Leonard started seven games that included the last six outings of the season . . . Played in all 12 games . . . In his second career start, led ASU to a thrilling last-second victory over Memphis and was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  He completed 12-of-23 passes for a season-high 219 yards and two touchdowns, including a 53-yard touchdown bomb with time expired in the fourth quarter to lift ASU to the 26-23 victory . . . Went on to finish the season completing 109-of-222 passes for 1,321 yards and eight touchdowns, all team highs . . .   Threw for over 100 yards in seven games and for at least 150 in three contests . . . Over his last three games of the season, threw for 466 yards with four touchdowns and just one interception . . . A dual threat, Leonard also rushed for 331 yards (second most on the team) and two touchdowns . . . Rushed for a season-high 76 yards in a victory over Troy, but also had at least 50 yards rushing in three games . . . Longest completion went for 69 yards . . . Longest rush was 29 yards . . . Rushed for a career-high 77 yards in a victory over North Texas . . . Ranked sixth in the Sun Belt Conference in passing yards (110.1 ypg), sixth in total offense (137.7 ypg), seventh in passing efficiency (103.8).
