JONESBORO, Ark. (2/28/18) – The Arkansas State baseball team’s game against Mississippi Valley State Wednesday has been cancelled due to inclement weather and will not be made up.

The two teams were originally scheduled to wrap up a two-game midweek series Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m., but rain started last night and has continued into today to cause the cancellation of the contest.

The Red Wolves shut out the Delta Devils last night by a score of 9-0 behind seven scoreless from starter Nate Alberius and two big innings from the A-State offense.

Arkansas State has now cancelled four of its first nine scheduled games due to weather. The team will be back in action March 2-4 against New Orleans. First pitch for Friday’s game against the Privateers is set for 6:30 p.m.
