• Arkansas State opens Sun Belt Conference play Friday at 7:30 p.m. with a matchup against ULM inside First National Bank Arena. Matt Stolz will bring the play-by-play action on the EAB Red Wolves Sports Network and flagship station 107.9 KFIN.
• Following the 99-68 win over Culver-Stockton, A-State has compiled a 300-117 (.719) record in 31 seasons at First National Bank Arena, including a 157-36 (.813) in non-conference games. A-State is 143-81 (.638) against Sun Belt foes inside FNB Arena.
• The Red Wolves have seen a player score 20 or more points in 10 of 13 games this year.
• Deven Simms double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds at Wichita State marked the first such performance given up by the Shockers since at least the 2010-11 season, a span of 262 games (data unavailable prior to 2010-11).
• A-State is 4-1 when leading at halftime, but 1-7 when tied (1-1) or trailing (0-6) at the break.
• A-State has used five different starting lineups in the first 13 games, but the same lineup in each of the last five games. Rashad Lindsey is the only player to start every game.  
• Despite not playing in seven of the first eight games, Salif Boudie has 28 rebounds in the last five games, including seven versus Culver-Stockton last week. Boudie had 43 rebounds in 22 games played last season.
• The Red Wolves are 17-9 in Sun Belt Conference openers and 33-21 in league play openers dating back to the 1963 season when A-State debuted in the Southland Conference.
• A-State is 12-3 at home in Sun Belt Conference openers, earning a 74-71 win over Louisiana last season.
