JONESBORO, Ark. (11/27/18) – Arkansas State sophomore forward Sarah Sodoma has been named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Third-Team after her outstanding performance for the Red Wolves this past season.

Sodoma led A-State with five goals on the year, which tied for the fifth most among the Sun Belt’s leaders. She also finished tied for ninth in the league with 37 total shots and ranked 10th with an average of 2.06 shots per game.

In conference play, the Manchester, Mo., native tallied three goals, tied for fifth most in the SBC, while her game-winning goals against ULM and Appalachian State helped propel Arkansas State to a third straight appearance in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

Sodoma is the first A-State soccer student-athlete in program history to be recognized as an all-region selection by the USC.
