JONESBORO, Ark. (2/7/17) – Arkansas State head women's soccer coach Brian Dooley announced the addition of six student-athletes to his 2018 signing day class on Wednesday.

The class features two defenders from the state of Missouri, Hannah Maupin and Jill Wikpe, while right wing Madison Garrison and midfielder Haley Husted each hail from Oklahoma. Midfielder Sophia Restrepo joins the class from Florida, while Kansas native and wingback Riley Minard rounds out the class for the Red Wolves.

“This class will bring even more competition for playing time to our team,” Dooley said. “We've added depth on our defensive and midfield lines allowing for flexibility in our tactical formation. We have the players to play a three-back or a three, four or five player midfield line. We have added great individuals who share our team mentality and will grow our culture.”

This year's signees will combine with 2017 signing class to give A-State 16 freshman and sophomores heading into the upcoming season. The Red Wolves recently enjoyed their best season during Coach Dooley's three-year tenure, which included a 9-6-2 overall record and a berth in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
