JONESBORO (1/22/10) - The Arkansas State football team has added a game at Indiana on Oct. 16 to its 2010 schedule, which will be the Red Wolves first game against the Hoosiers and sixth game against a member of the Big Ten Conference in the history of the program.
ASU will play a Big Ten team for the second consecutive season after dropping a narrow 24-21 decision at nationally-ranked Iowa last season. The Hoosiers will be the fourth Big Ten opponent Arkansas State has ever played, also facing Illinois and Minnesota in addition to the Hawkeyes.
ASU played both Illinois and Minnesota twice, falling to the Fighting Illini in 1999 and 2000 and to the Golden Gophers in 1995 and 1998.
ASU's game against Indiana will be played at 52,692-seat Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. The Hoosiers posted a 4-8 record last season, including a 3-3 home record.
