JONESBORO (1/10/10) - Arkansas State football fans wishing to get an up-close and personal review of all the Red Wolves 2010 signees will have the opportunity Wednesday, Feb. 3 at the Recruiting Round-Up, where head coach Steve Roberts and the entire coaching staff will review video highlights of each future A-State player and their experiences on the recruiting trail.

The annual event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Cooper Alumni Center on the campus of Arkansas State University.  Members of the ASU Alumni Association and Red Wolf Club will receive free admission, while non-members can be a part of the festivities for just $5.  Food and drinks will be provided.

"This is a great opportunity to get a look at the future of Red Wolves football," said Doug Doggett, Director of the Red Wolf Club. "Fans will not only have a chance to see the 2010 recruiting class, but will also hear from new offensive coordinator Clay Helton and find out more about the high powered offense he plans to bring to ASU."

ASU head football coach Steve Roberts announced Helton, a coaching veteran with over 14 years experience at the NCAA FBS level, as the Red Wolves new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach on Dec. 24.  Helton spent the last 10 seasons on the Memphis coaching staff, including the last three years as an assistant head coach and the offensive coordinator.

The Memphis offense ranked among the top 26 teams in the nation in total offense during two of Helton's three years as offensive coordinator.  The 2008 team ranked 26th nationally in total offense and 22nd in rushing offense, while the 2007 squad ranked 23rd in total offense and 13th in passing offense.
