2009:  Played in all 12 games, including one (at Florida Atlantic) as a starter . . . Rushed 56 times for 254 yards and two touchdowns . . . Averaged 4.4 yards per rush, the highest average on the team among all players with at least 50 rushing attempts . . . Will enter junior campaign with an impressive 6.2 yards per rush average . . . Rushed 12 times for 76 yards, both season highs, and one touchdown in the Red Wolves season opener against Mississippi Valley State . . . Ran for 67 yards, his second most of the season, on nine attempts against FAU . . . Also posted his longest run of the season against FAU with a 26 yarder . . . 2008:  Lawson impressed his freshman season, rushing for 695 yards with a 7.2 average per carry . . . His 7.4 yards per rush was the fifth highest in the nation among all running backs ranked in the top-100 for rushing yards . . . Ranked No. 9 in the Sun Belt Conference in rushing yards (57.9 ypg), led all SBC freshmen in rushing and ranked No. 10 in the nation in rushing among all freshmen . . . One of 10 players recognized by CBSSports.com on its Sept. 24 "Freshman Watch" list, which featured the best freshmen in college football throughout the the season . . .Became just the 11th player in school history to rush for over 200 yards in a game with his 209-yard performance against Texas Southern . . . His 209 yards ranks as the eighth most in school history . . . Posted two 100-yard rushing games and had over 50 yards in five outings . . . Had long rush of 80 yards against Texas Southern that ranks tied for the fourth longest in school history . . . His 80-yard run was the longest by an ASU player since 2005.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Helped lead Nettleton High School to 5A state semifinals, rushing for an Arkansas high school record 3,090 yards to break Madre Hill's 13-year old record of 2,863 yards . . . 36 TDs senior season ties the fifth most in Arkansas high school history . . . 2006 Jonesboro Sun Player of the Year . . . Little Rock Touchdown Club's 5A High School Player of the Year . . . Named to the Arkansas All-Star Team . . . 2006 KAIT 8 High School Player of the Year . . . Rushed for 4,198 career yards and posted 49 career touchdowns . . . No. 2 jersey retired by Nettleton High School . . . Hooten Award and Landers Award finalist in 2006, two of the top awards in the state.
