JONESBORO, Ark. (8/10/17) – The Arkansas State Athletics Department is set to host its 2017 Fan Day featuring the Red Wolves' football and women's soccer teams Saturday, Aug. 12, inside the Student Activity Center located adjacent to Centennial Bank Stadium's north end zone.

The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. with autograph availability running from 4:15-5:15 p.m. Fans are asked to enter through the southwest entrance of the Student Activity Center (SAC).

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to obtain autographs and take photos with the players, head football coach Blake Anderson and head women's soccer coach Brian Dooley. There will also be other attractions such as music by DJ King Vick, a Kids' Zone with inflatable games by Hijinx, and appearances by Howl, Scarlet, the A-State Cheerleaders and Red Wolves Dancers. Free drinks, as well as posters and schedule cards will be available.

New memberships to Howl's Pals Kids Club will be available, and membership packets will be distributed beginning in September.

Following A-State's Fan Day activities, the Red Wolves' football team will conduct its second fall-camp scrimmage at approximately 6 p.m. on the Centennial Bank Stadium field. Including Saturday's scrimmage, all of A-State's practices are open to the public.

Season tickets, mini-plans and single game tickets for the 2017 football campaign are on sale and may be purchased on site at Fan Day in addition to online at, by phone at 870-972-2781 or by visiting the A-State Convocation Center Box Office.

The football team's season opener is scheduled for Sept. 2 (7 p.m.) at Nebraska, while its home opener will take place a week later against Miami on Sept. 9 (2:30 p.m.).

The women's soccer team will host its first exhibition game Aug. 11 (3 p.m.) against UAPB and also has a second home exhibition game set for Aug. 13 (4 p.m.) against Jackson State. The squad's season opener will be played Aug. 18 (7 p.m.) at Missouri State.
